The initial bail amounts are set by the circuit court. How that changes, either up or down, depends on the facts. But obviously, that is a very serious crime (violent sexual offense), and will carry an initial high bond amount (likely, over 150K + to start). Check with your local jail, they would know the amount that will initially be on the advisory sheet.
