Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

My boyfriend is being accused of pushing his ex that is 4 months pregnant. she was pressing charges then dropped the charges now she is pressing charges again. The cops saw her yesterday and she was fine. But then today she calls the cop and says she is in the hospital bleeding. now mind you this is 24 hours later. Now she has decided to press charges. the cops are not pressing charges. my question is will the state pick this up?
