I had a charge of battery which involved pushing a person. I was never arrested or been to court. This occured in 1994. But, there is a record of this. How can I get this off my recoed, which is the first and only reccord I have.

You can file a Petition to Seal or Expunge your record. You will need to get your fingerprints taken and file that with your petition. Further, you must get clearance from the State by submitting the request. A hearing must then be scheduled to have a judge hear your case. Alternatively, you may wish to retain an attorney to represent you and to make sure that all of this is done properly.
