Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
battery
i went to disney and had a bag confiscated. they walked me and the bag to the security room. the lady had the bag in her hand and i grabbed the bag and tried to walk out. 5 other disney security guards tried to block the door when i walked towards it. the lady whom i grabbed the bag from then proceeded to knee my thigh leaving a pretty substantial bruise. and she claims that i twisted her wrist when i grabbed the bag. but her wrist was already in a brace before the situation. and i made note of the brace, and consciously avoided touching her. long story short, she pressed battery charges on me. do i have any case against her to get the charges at least dropped?

Sure. What did you do wrong? What were they holding you for?
Re: battery
That sounds like a pretty weak battery case. You'll probably want to consult with a local criminal defense attorney and have him/her review the facts of your case.
If you are interested in speaking about your case in more detail, my office handles criminal cases throughout the State of Florida and is based in the Tampa Bay area.
Good luck,
