Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Battery on a LEO

I was arrested over two years ago for a battery on a leo charge because i had no prior record I entered the pre-trial intervention program and the charges were dismissed--or so I thought.

I recently filled out an application for an apartment and i was denied because of their background check showed the charge as a conviction.

How can I get this fixed? I am afraid that this one drunken night will ruin my life forever. I'm a senior and college and I'm afraid that because of this bogus charge it will ruin my future.

Also, I don't think I can get it expunged because I also have a DUI. Is it work a try?

PLEASE HELP.
