Battery

If you know of someone that a police report was filed against them for battery, and is currently being investigated, but now you find out that this person has gotten a job at a daycare center and you are concerned for the welfate of the children. (the daycare has become friends with this person) is there any law that these kind of people should not be working around children while they are being investigated. thank you, concerned for the children

Re: Battery

A person is presumed innocent until proven guilty, and a 'charge' is not conclusive of someones guilt. There is no law that would prevent this persons employment at this location. Your option, perhaps, is to imform the owner/operator of this charge and maybe this could be something that is against the policy of the day care thereby giving the day care an option to fire this employee.
