battery
My son is 19 he was in a fight with a boy 17 which resulted in the 17 yr olds lip cut and a broken tooth. The next day the mother of the 17yr old desides to press charges but did not seek medical help for her son. What could my son be facing

Misdemeanor. If they charge an aggravated battery (felony)it means he received "serious personal injury".
