After they are convicted? I'm not sure I get the question. After they are convicted, they do their time, do their probation, do whatever they are told to do. If the person is confused about their sentence, they should call the clerk to find out what the sentence is. If the sentence is probation, they should call the probation department (sometimes it's the Salvation Army, believe it or not) to find out what the next step is.
