batttery charge

friend of mine went to court today charge was mistermeaner for battery he said they didnt charge him the judge threw it out and he only have to pay 800 dollars in court cost well im the victim of that assault and need to know why they would let him off so easy.

You should have been contacted by the state attorney's office regarding the resolution of the case. If they can't reach you then they will resolve the case as best they can. If your contact information is correct then they should contact you. A victim of a crime is supposed to be contacted regarding case resolution. So, you may want to contact the state attorney's office to find out what happened. By the way, if the judge threw something out he shouldn't have to pay anything.
