Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Bench Warrants
I was arrested in October of last year (2005) for a simple trepassing violation. My court date was scheduled for March of this year (2006) in which because of irresponsibility I didnt make too much of an effort to show up to. In my search for a decent job, I am learning that the systems are pulling up records as if I have an warrant out, and the jobs are telling me that I need to take care of this before hiring me.
I have been given a couple options such as forms that the judicial system have to reschedule court dates, but im not sure which one, nor even if its too late. Please give me some insite on how to clear this all up, so I can go ahead with my life.
Of course theres always the option of just turning yourself in... but who wants to spend days in jail when there is other ways around it!
Thanks.

Re: Bench Warrants
First you should know that you can be picked up for any reason. If you are speeding and they pull you over and run your name you are going to jail. If there is anything illegal on your person at the time of arrest you can be charged with that as well. My suggestion is to hire an attorney to get the warrant set aside. If not you can attempt to do it yourself, but it doesn't sound like you have excusable neglect. If you need any more info. 9546737190
good luck

You can hire a lawyer to schedule a court date to recall the warrant or turn yourself in. Pls call if I can help you.
