benefits of impeachment
What is point of getting a witness impeached if statement or testimony is still allowed to be considered by the jury? How would the impeachment benefit?

Becasue as I explained in my first message, jurors decide what the truth is. The witness can be shown to have made an inconsistent statement and the jury decides if it a mistake, or a lie, important or not important. Impeachment is necessary to show the witness has said something different in the past. Why isnt your lawyer explaining this stuff?
