Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
My boyfriend was arrested when he was 17 for robbery. He was charged when he became 18 and spent 1 yr in jail, they convicted him of robbery with a weapon. There was never a weapon involved. He is now 30yrs old and been having a hard time finding a good job. We still live in Florida. Is there anyway we can hace rhe charged changed since there wasnt a weapon involved? Also we tried to get record sealed and it doesnt qualify.qualify

I'm afraid there's little you can do. You've already tried the sealing route and as expected he wasn't qualified for a sealing/expunction. He just needs to explain the circumstances and some employers will understand.
