Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Boyfriend was charged with 3 counts 3rd degrees LARC: GRAND THEFT 300 LESS THAN 5K DOLS and 3 counts 3rd degree PASS FORGED: ALTER BANK BILL NOTE CHECK DRAFT and 1st degree PUBLIC ORDER CRIMES: RACKETEERING VIOLATION. I wanted to know if he was looking at doing a long jail time? They had set his bond at $210,000. Is there a chance he will only get a few months?

There's always a chance. The 6 third degree felonies plus the first degree felony amount to 60 years on all charges. Certainly wouldn't score that high, but prison is likely. Would need his scoresheet and facts of the case to properly answer. I'm sure he has an attorney so you should speak to him.
