Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
My ex boyfriend was charged with a domestic violence charge (battery) againest me. The state of Florida is persuing the charge. I fhe is found guilty he will be kicked out of the army. I do not want that because I am barn his child. How can I get the stste to drop these charges?

You can simply contact the state attorney's office and tell them you don't want to pursue charges. That does NOT necessarily mean they will drop the charges but if they know your position they may be more inclined to do so.
