Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
My boyfriend was convicted of a crime. He was given the maximum sentence of 3 years. The court reporter made an error in the court documents and put that he was going to be on probation once released. He is not supposed to be on probation because he is serving the max time already for the crime he was convicted of. What can be done to correct that error?

His attorney can file a motion to correct sentence but there are time limits on that so it should be done right away.
