Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
my boyfriend is going to court for two charges one with pietty thieft another for resisting officer when recovering stolen property he never stole anything but he pushed a security guard at sears what will happen at court

Is this his first offense? It's impossible to say exactly what will happen, but you normally see first offenders be treated more leniently than repeat offenders. Also, PTI may be a possibility if offered. These are misdemeanor charges and my *guess* is that if he a first offender, the public defender will ask for an adjudication withheld and fine.
