Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
me and my boyfriend got in a fight and im pregnant...the neighbor called the cops.when the cops got there they ask if he hit me and i said yes he slap me,and i made i statement not knowing they would arrest him for that (aggrvd battery on preg female)it wasnt even that serious...i went to advisary and told the judge i want contact and i dnt wanna press charges against him,they only lowered his bond...i have and appt to talk to the state attorney in a couple of day...and im going to tell them that he never hit me,im not pressing charges and i was just upset about the whole thing....will i get in trouble for that?

The only thing you need to do is be honest when you go to the state attorney. If you lie about anything you face charges of lying to a police officer that originally arrested him. However this happens all the time so I suggest you talk to an atorney before you go to the state attorney.
