Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
my boyfriend is currently in jail for violation of probation because his ex-girlfriend said he hit her. which is a misdemeanor. she is now trying to drop the charges because she is saying he dididnt hit her, he has only been out of prison for 3 months and he did 8 years. what is most likel to happen.

He will likely be prosecuted since it doesn't matter if she wants to drop the charges. He needs to get a good attorney to handle this because he is looking at a year in jail.
