Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I'm trying to help my boyfriend get his life straightned out. He had a pre-trial hearing yesterday and did not go and now has a warrant for his arrest (I'm pretty sure). What should he do? He doesn't have money for an attorney. Is it to late to have an attorney appointed to him?

He needs to call the Judge's judicial assistant, have his case put on calendar ASAP, and apply for the public defender.
