Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
My boyfriend got picked up in Florida for violation of parole in NY when NY came to get him FL stopped them because they said they were investigating him for something he has not been charged with anything as of yet he has been there for almost 30days how long can they hold him without charging him?

They have to ROR him after 33 days. Also, he has to be informed of the charges against him within 24-48 hours. If it's a felony, then he has the right to a probable cause hearing within 21 days. If he doesn't have an attorney for his Fla charges, you need to get one now.
