Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
My boyfriend is on probation for grand theft and burglary. He recently was pulled over and had an open container of beer. He got a a ticket and paid the fine, this is a moving violation in florida. What should he do? Will this send him to jail for violation of his probation?

It should not be cause for a violation, unless one of the conditions of probation was that he not consume any alcohol.
