Depends on what kind of structure was burglarized and whether any person was either battered or assaulted. The use or carrying of a weapon also determines the sentencing exposure. For example, a burglary of an unoccupied home would expose you to a maximum of 15 years prison. If someone was assaulted during the course of the burglary the penalty would increase to a possible life sentence. Hope this answers your question. Good luck.
