Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
my car was stolen and the police are asking me to take a polygraph test to rule me out as a suspect. I read on line that these test are not reliable and can actually make me look like I am not telling the truth. Should I take this test? According to the police this teas is not mandatory.

No this test is not mandatory. And no you should definitely not take this test, at least without talking to an attorney first. Your instincts are right. Even the innocent can be made to look guilty. Get an attorney right away.
