Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

caught with Counterfit bills

Hello I would like advice on the following: My sister in law has been acussed of handing over a fake 100 bill to a vendor plus when searched she had $5,000 worth of fake 100 dollar bills on her, she said someone paid her this money but the cops don't believe her, specially since the secret service caught her with one fake 100 bill in New York city the summer before, my question is: Will she face jail time? is there anyway she may be given probation? she has never been arrested, just let go with a warning on that New york fake bill ocation, If she does get jail time how much could that be? also she is a US resident (permanent) will she face deportation after all this ends? her bail is set at $200,000. I will apreciate any help, we have no idea how to proceed, Thank you.

Re: caught with Counterfit bills

The amount of time she is facing depends on whether she is being charged in federal or state court.

Your sister must hire a criminal attorney, she is facing a very serious crime.

I will be very happy to provide your sister with a free consultation & explain to her what she is facing.

I can be reached at 201-646-9600.
