Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
You are caught on video taking moneys out the register from your boss business. For the sum of 320. But yall have came to an agreement that you will pay it back. You have paid 200 dollars back as of today. Can he or she still press charges and will the state expect the case knowing yall have payment arrangements. Thank good morning God Bless.

You can agree to pay it back but that doesn't mean that the STATE won't prosecute you. Even if your employer agrees not to prosecute, the state still can and often does. Since it sounds like you are set for arraignment, then that means charges have already been filed. Although you may be eligible for a diversion program as well, which, when completed after about a year, will end up dismissing the charges. You really need to get an attorney, or at least a public defender if you can't afford one.
