Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Changing prosecuting Atty.

I am the victim of a misdemeanor battery. I have been assigned a young Atty. only 6 mos. out of school who is afraid to go to trial. Can I request a new more experienced prosecuting atty. or am I stuck?

Thank you

I am sure he is not "scared" to go to trial. Maybe your case is awful and he doesnt want to see you lose. In terms of skill level, you can't pick who prosecutes your case, thats not how the system works. I am sure he is capable of trying a MM battery case 6 months out of school, its not the OJ simson trial.

Good luck
