twice charged!
can i be charged with two different charges for 1 crime? i had 1 script at pharmacy for methadone, and was charged with obtaining by fraud and uttering a forged instrument.

Yes. As long as each crime has a different element of proof, there is no double jeopardy problem. I agree with Ms. Masters that you could have been charged with additional crimes as well. You'll probably want to consult an attorney in your area.
