Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I have been charged with petty theft, 2nd degree. I just went to court and plead no contest and my public defender is going to email the state about getting me a judicial warning considering the fact that I am in college full time, I work full time, and I have a daughter. She says she is sure I will receive the judicial warning, however, if they drug test me I will fail. Do they usually drug test people for this? I am in juvenile court, however I am 18.

If a judge wants to drug test you as a condition of a plea or dismissal then you must comply. You need to be cautious and talk to an attorney about this as soon as you can.
