Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Hello, I have been charged with possesion & intent to sell of cocaine. The police just released the audio evidence to me. I guess that was the only direct evidence they had. There is nothing on the audio talking about drugs or money. All it is me talking about is hair cuts thats what I do for my profession. This clearly is mistaken identity, so what should do? And if this case gets thrown out will I have a law suit? I ask this because at the time of my arrest I had a broken hand & they arrested me at my place of work.

You need to hire a lawyer to challenge the facts of the State's case. If your lawyer can't convince them to drop the charges, then you'll have to go to trial. If you're acquitted or they drop the charges you should consult a civil rights attorney to discuss whether you have a law suit. If it's a illegal arrest, you might have a lawsuit.
