Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Charged 6 weeks later for a bloody nose?
About 6 weeks ago I was involved in an incident where I struck another person and the police were called. I was not taken to jail or given a ticket, citation, summons or anything. My information was not taken and I did not sign anything. The other person did go to the hospital for a bloody nose but there was no permanent damage. Can I still be charged with anything or sued?

The time limit has not yet expired for criminal charges or a civil lawsuit, so yes.
