Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Charges filed against me.
I got into a fight 3 1/2 years ago and someone video taped it. The person I got into the fight with never filed a police report/pressed charges. However the person that video taped me is now threatening to press charges. It has been 3 1/2 years, can he still do that? If so what could happen to me?

Re: Charges filed against me.
I wouldn't worry about it. The statute of limitations on filing a felony as you describe is 3 years. Additionally, the "victim" would have to give the police a sworn statement.
