Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

commissions unpaid

I am a 1099 with a moving company. I have over $12,000 in unpaid commissions for the year 2007. What kind of an attorney do I need to pursue my 'employer' on this? I WANT A BULLDOG! I have asked for compensation for the past 1.5 years with no serious effort to pay. I have complete documentation. My 'employer' does this to all vendors and others who have finally left the company. He thinks he is invinsible. This is a franchised location partly owned by the corp. in Dallas, TX. Can Corp. and the other 40 locations be sued also?

There is a specific statute in Florida on the books which will allow you to recover the balance, plus punitive damages, plus attorneys' fees.

Additionally, because you are here in Florida, the lawsuit may be able to be filed in Florida.

I think you have a wide variety of options, and I would welcome the opportunity to discuss them with you. Please call me or e-mail me at your convenience.
