Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Company claiming Grand Theft
I worked for a company 15 years i received 10% raises never had any dicisplinary action against me. Out of nowhere I was terminated stating i had excepted free gifts from vendors. after almost 11 months they have filed criminal charges against me stating trips i received as bonuses and other things. I was in charge of our Barter department and also a manager of the company Foundation and the Volunteer Manager. All with one salary. I have an attorney. Is it likely that i would have to do jail time when ive never had anything on my record. I was respected throughout the company by everyone. I saved the compny over 15 million dollars through Barter and raised over 6 million for the foundation. They have made my life a living hell. Nothing even led up to it. It just happen and i was in total complete shock. I worked at this company practically my entire life.
