Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

In a complaint a woman falsely charged me with battery- in was charged but case dropped

In the SAME complai she also accused a male of bribery, stalking and telling her he would make me disappear. Not one question and no investigation was done about these accusation. In fact this man was used as the only witness against me.

4 days later she accused the same man of stalking her again. She stopped a policeman in street. That policeman did not even write up a report. Nex day she went to the police station and wrote up the second stalking incident

Is it usuat for police investigators to simply ignore such serious complaint - by the way the accused was the Mayor

We'd be kidding ourselves if we all thought that people with connections (e.g., the mayor) are treated the same as everyone else. You could either do nothing, call the police, or call the press.
