Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Confidentiality Of Anonamous Tips
Would an anonamous tip (or any number of them) be enough for the police to search a house and/or car for marajuana?
If not, what would a citizen be able to do, while concealing their identity, to justify a search warant?
Thirdly, what kind of charges would that result in if the suspect was a seventeen year old incomming senior that both used and sold marajuana to their friends that are also under 18 (and how much jail time would that allow for)?

Re: Confidentiality Of Anonamous Tips
An anonymous tip would not be enough. sale of drugs is a second degree felony punishable by 15 years in prison. A juvenile may get less.
