Consensual Sex?
In the state of Florida, what would be the charge in a case where a 24 year old male has consensual sex with a 14 year old female? And what is the mandatory minimum and maximum sentence that can possibly be given?

Re: Consensual Sex?
The crime you are describing would probably be charged as a Lewd and Lascivious Battery or L&L Molestation. Typically, it is charged as a second degree felony and could be punishable by up to 15 years in prison. If this is you, or someone you know, it would be very wise to get an attorney to start working with that individual ASAP.
