what are the consequences for a aggravated battery charge for a 1st time female offender/domestic in the state of florida? if the victim does not wish to press charges can the state still persue?

It depends on how you score, but usually the bottom of the guidelines is close to 6 years prison with a max penalty of 15 years prison. Just because the victim doesn't want to pursue, doesn't mean the state will not pursue. They often do. Obviously, you need an attorney to help you.
