Could it be considered kid knapping if a woman that is 8 weeks pregnant leaves her abusive husband.

No it could not be considered kidnapping. The only legal issue that may arise is what happens once the child is born; and that would be a family law question.
If the husband is abusive, you should leave him now and seek a dissolution of marriage if you do not think the marriage can be salvaged in a way that you will feel safe and secure.
The custody rights of the child would have to be decided during the dissolution of marriage proceedings.
