Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
what constitutes someones legal residence?
I need to know what makes your legal residence. Is it where you receive your mail? is it the address on yor drivers license? or something else. And if I am receiving mail at someones address and have belongings there and stay the night most nights can I be charged with illegal entry of that dwelling even tho the homeowner let me in the front door on the night in question? I have been told that the most I can be charged with is illegal tresspass - is that correct?

Based upon what you've written you shouldn't even be charged with trespass.
