You will need to address a judge about the situation. In most cases, the alleged victim will have to ask the judge or give the judge permission to lift a no-contact order. Since you are not allowed to contact the victim, either directly or indirectly, this can be a difficult situation. Often, a lawyer may be given permission by the judge to contact the victim and see if they are interested in communicating with the defendant.
