Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Contacting Judge
I would like to know if it is possible to contact a judge (in Orange County) without the aid of an attorney. i have called several times and left messages for a particular judge, and have yet to receive a call back. I can't afford an attorney which is why I'm trying to get in contact with the judge myself. How do I get their attention?

Re: Contacting Judge
A judge is forbidden from having contact to only one side in a court case.It depends what you want:
if you wnat to set a case for trial, the judicial assistant can help you. If you want to discuss a plea agreement, you should file a motion for a pre-trial conferenc; be sure to notify the prosecuting attorney and clear a convenient time for all. WARNING; It is advisable to obtain an attorney, especially in a criminal case.
