Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
what if they did not know they had the contraband on them? I have not gotten the full story , but I cant believe for one second that my friend would be that stupid~!!! Could being charged with smuggling contraband not only mean in the detention center but also in the police car, and holding cell?? If it was in her purse during booking, could she get in just as much trouble?

There are defenses to introduction of contraband. An attorney needs to look at the claims of law enforcement as againnst your friend's claim.
