Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
can you be convicted of burglary by being in possesion of stolen property with no other evidence, and no evidence of when burglary occured due to residence had been vacant for 3 to 4 months prior to discovery of burglary?

Without evidence nobody can be convicted. Therein lies your problem, there must be some kind of evidence. It can be circumstantial, for example, you were seen near the house when a break-in occurred. It could be the person told a friend he burgled the place. It could be hidden video. Or a thousand other types of evidence. An attorney can discuss with you what is evidence under the circumstances and since burglary of a dwelling scores out prison time, I wouldn't hesitate.
