Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Can I be convicted of a crime I did not commit?

I was invited to an apt this one night with my co defendent we both passed out and this next day we woke up no one was there but my co defendent knew the person who said we could come over and he called him to let him know that we was still there and that i was looking for some money I lost and he said he lost his earring. He was still in the apt and I stepped out and I had a gun in my pocket it shot off and cops were called and my co defendent told me to run in the apt so I did and he hid the gun and a little bit of cocaine and marijuana in his friends bed room under the mattress, but I also got the charges and I'm worried I hear that my co defendent is trying to save himself and make it seem like I did it, but I was bleeding and If I did it there would have been blood around the evidence and a cop claimed he saw me run inside which wasn't the co defendents place and If I was the one who hid the things and the cop saw me how could I had enough time and the codefendent was already in the apt.

Can you be convicted of a crime you didn't commit? Of course you can. It happens every day. Also, it seems like you've described a few crimes that you should be convicted of. You need to speak with a criminal lawyer.
