Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I was convicted of vehicular homicide on dec. 3rd 2007. I was givien 8years at 30 percent, one year to serve in county jail and seven years probation. Well I served my year in tenn. where I was convicted, now Im back home in fl. My question is can I get a work permit to drive, or my drivers license.

It depends on what Tenn. says about your driver's license status. Florida will follow what the other state says. In other words, if you received a permanent suspension (which is what Florida would do when convicted of vehicular homicide), then Florida will honor that and you will not be able to get a license here. However, if Tenn. allows you to have a license then Florida should honor that. You need to contact an attorney in Tennessee.
