Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Convictions 10+ yrs old - not used against you?
Okay, I hear in Florida convictions more than 10 years old can not be used against you. Is this true? And if this is true, what date do they use? Date of offense? Date of conviction? Date of sentencing? Date of termination of sentence? Thank You!

Crimes ten years or older as of date of conviction can't be used against a person as impeachment (to make him look like a liar in court) or on his sentencing scoresheet as priors in most circumstances.
