Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I have a county ordinance violation for pet not inoculated from from 1995, which I was adjudicated guilty. When I search the county clerk records the violation returns under the criminal misdemeanor section. An employer attempted to disqualify me for a job, considering the guilty adjudication a misdemeanor crime that I did not disclose. I did not learn until that time that this was on my background check. Is this county ordinance violation a first degree misdemeanor?
