Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Court Dates
My fiances court date continues to be pushed back and his lawyer continues to say that there is nothing she can do and it is up to the judge when the case is tried but I thought that she could file a motion to dismiss. Is what she telling me true? Its been continued 3 times and she filed the first one without even discussing it with my fiance.

Re: Court Dates
Your lawyer can always file a demand for speedy trial which requires that a defendant be tried within 50 days. Good luck and call me if you have any questions.
