Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Court
Can a 13 year old child be sobpoenaed to court? My son was playing in the park, when a few kids tried to steal his bike and through rock at him.
He has now been subpoenaed. I fear if he testifys, the other kids will beat him up.

Re: Court
A subpoena is a court order. If he doesn't appear, technically the court MAY issue what is called a rule to show cause which is fancy term for him to come to court and explain why he didn't respond to the subpoena.
