Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
criminal charge
i was arrested under petit theft and today i received a letter with an appointment to court. i dont have an attorney,im willing to pay the court fees.
what do you recommend me to do.i believe the state provides me a lawyer if i cannot afford one.what are my options in getting rid of these problems?

You may be appointed an attorney from the public defender's office depending upon your financial status. This will be done at your arraignment.
